With new housing being built on the north side of Skipton Road, a proper segregated cycle route is needed along Skipton Road and the A61 Ripon Road, to join up to the Luchon Way route towards the town centre.
Consult with Saltergate School to see what is needed so pupils can arrive by bike.
Painting a white line in the middle of the pavement isn’t enough, especially when the route doesn’t go anywhere or link to other routes.
Improve the cycle route between the crossing opposite the Coop garage & Coppice Avenue/Coppice Gate.
It is currently faded paint on the pavement and gives way to everything else including the entrance to the Coop garage.
