If a majority of Councillors support it, it is likely to go ahead.

Please could you contact your North Yorkshire Councillor and ask them to support Harrogate Station Gateway? They need to know that local people want improved active travel facilities and a nicer town centre.

We understand that the following organisations will oppose the project at the meeting:
- Harrogate Chamber of Commerce
- Harrogate BID
- Harrogate Civic Society
- Harrogate Residents Association
- Granville Road Residents Association
This is very disappointing indeed.
We will make a Statement in Support of Station Gateway.
If you’re a member of an association that supports active travel in Harrogate and would like its name added to the Statement, please let us know. Similarly, if your organisation wants to make its own Statement, that would be great.
